The Fusion blaster is a close range shotgun like weapon and is perfect for dealing with tardigrades that are closer than you would like. Each shot consumes 3 ammo and it comes fully equip with a secondary charged shot. The charged shot deals damage to both enemies as well as the player placed barricades so you much be careful when using it. The damaged is dealt to enemies and barricades based on their distance from the blast impact so try to be precise. It’s a slightly heaver weapon which is reflected in it’s fire rate and how the player moves slower when holding the weapon. The weapon also increases the players head-bob to help reflect this.
Laser Pistol
The Laser Pistol was the first weapon designed by the mad scientist and evidently is what helped him land is prestigious research job at Landwell. The laser pistol was the first weapon of its kind and therefore is prone to some malfunctions here and there. When fired in rapid succession it’s prone to overheat and burn the users hand forcing them to wait for it to cool down before firing again. The weapon does have unlimited ammo though making it a great fallback weapon when all of your ammo reserves have been depleted.
